I am a musician, a taker of pictures, a rider of bikes, a father to plants, and roller of skateboards (no tricks). And I advocate Free Software and GNU/Linux.

That’s right, the people who merged into the scene back in — oh it must of been — 2008, with a crappy website and terrible selection of computer hardware. They went on to write the “Author’s Choice of Terminology License” then discontinued it.
Well they’ve not only grown to fix their website, support installing all of the most prominent GNU/Linux distributions, including gNewSense which landed them a place on GNU.org. But they have also grown to support installing BSD, Haiku, and OpenSolaris.
When did this happen? I don’t know. I had sent them a request for a price on a system a couple of months ago, and didn’t hear back from them until last night. They said…
“Sorry for the long delay. We have been restructuring our services and inventory. I think you’ll find us much more responsive to your mail now. And we can now handle the installation of Haiku, BSD, and OpenSolaris. In case you might have been interested in those free operating systems.”
This is great news, but I’ve already bought a new computer elsewhere. And I wish I hadn’t because it took me forever, what with the moving my files on and off drives and the reconfiguring of the software. It sucked.
Anyway, that’s it. It’s pretty cool.
